Professional Education events offered by St. Patrick Hospital and Health Sciences Center include a weekly Friday Medical Conference, discipline-specific continuing medical education conferences, symposia, guest lectures, and interactive discussion groups, such as Journal Club.
Faculty from The International Heart Institute of Montana Foundation regularly participate in these continuing medical education opportunities, and they also attend bi-weekly patient care meetings, serve on local and regional quality improvement initiatives, and frequently give public lectures on timely educational topics to local community groups.
Each February, St. Patrick Hospital and The International Heart Institute of Montana Foundation host an all-day Heart Expo, in which educational and screening services are offered to participants from Missoula and the surrounding communities. The hospital also offers public lectures, health fairs, AARP safe driving classes, smoking cessation classes, and more. Click here for a complete list of upcoming community events.
The International Heart Institute of Montana Foundation, The University of Montana, and St. Patrick Hospital and Health Sciences Center continually encourage collaboration, dialogue, and communication between nurses, physicians, specialists, researchers, scientists, and the community in general. Therefore, this master schedule of educational offerings has been created.
