A "hands-on" workshop where a small group of cardiac surgeons (around 15) spend two days of in-depth, one-on-one instruction on the indications and techniques of mitral valve repair. The course consists of interactive video transmission from the OR demonstrating a mitral valve repair, followed by hands-on application of the techniques using isolated pig hearts. The workshops are supported by Medtronic Inc. and are held in Missoula, MT; throughout the country; and internationally.
