The Public Lecture Series program gives the public the opportunity to learn and discuss current issues in health care with leading physicians and surgeons in the community.
The new lecture series, Matters of the Heart, was initiated in 2006. The first lecture, "Just What Happens During Heart Surgery?" was presented by Dr. Matt Maxwell and Dr. Stephen Tahta, provoking many questions from the audience. This series will include 4 to 6 varied lectures each year, and is partially underwritten by US Bank. Their support is much appreciated.
